I'm an early pioneer of online course gamification. I have been doing server management, web development, and online course design since 1999, and I also have grant writing experience! I participated in Student Empowerment Strategies workshops with Skip Downing (On-Course: Strategies For Creating Success In College) in Baltimore Maryland several years ago. Skip is "an international consultant in the field of faculty development and student success strategies". I also completed a doctoral course on the topic at Gaucher College. I have extensive experience with a variety of Learning Management Systems, including, but not limited to Moodle, Blackboard and Canvas. In 2018 I developed the first fully online College Success course, at my institution, that served as an early course model for other administrators and educators during the Pandemic.
